Kalyanmoy Deb 

Koenig Endowed Chair Professor, Michigan State University, USA 

Kalyanmoy Deb is Koenig Endowed Chair Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Michigan State University, USA. Prof. Deb's research interests are in evolutionary optimization and their application in multi-criterion optimization, modeling, and machine learning. He has been a visiting professor at various universities across the world including University of Skövde in Sweden, Aalto University in Finland, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and IITs in India. He was awarded IEEE Evolutionary Computation Pioneer Award for his sustained work in EMO, Infosys Prize, TWAS Prize in Engineering Sciences, Caj Astur Mamdani Prize, Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kharagpur, Edgeworth-Pareto award, Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences, and Bessel Research award from Germany. He is a fellow of IEEE, ASME, and three Indian science and engineering academies. He has published over 520 research papers with Google Scholar citation of over 138,000 with h-index 116. Eduardo Fernández Camacho  

Professor, Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla, Spain

Eduardo F. Camacho is currently a Full Professor with the Department of System and Automation Engineering, University of Seville, Seville, Spain. He has authored Model Predictive Control in the Process Industry (1995), Advanced Control of Solar Plants (1997), Model Predictive Control (1999), (Springer, 2004, second edition), Control e Instrumentación de Procesos Químicos (Ed. Síntesis), Control of Dead-Time Processes (Springer, 2007), and Control of Solar Systems (Springer, 2011). He is a member of the IEEE/CSS Board of Governors. He was the Chair of the IFAC Publication Committee from 2002 to 2005, the President of the European Control Association from 2005 to 2007, the Chair of the IEEE/CSS International Affairs Committee from 2003 to 2006. He was an expert for the Program Committee of the NMP Research Priority of the European Union. He is currently one of the editors of the IFAC Control Engineering Practice, the Editor-at-Large of the European Journal of Control, and a Subject Editor of Optimal Control: Applications and Methods.

Boris Mordukhovich 

Professor, Wayne State University, Michigan, USA

Boris Mordukhovich was born and educated in the former Soviet Union. He is currently a Distinguished University Professor of Mathematics at Wayne State University. Mordukhovich is an expert in optimization, variational analysis, and applications. He is the author and a co-author of many papers and 5 monographs. Mordukhovich is an AMS Fellow, a SIAM Fellow, and a recipient of many international awards and honors including Doctor Honoris Causa degrees from 6 universities worldwide. He was the Founding Editor and a co-Editor-in-Chief of Set-Valued and Variational Analysis, and is now an Associate Editor of many highly ranked journals. In 2016 he was elected to the Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti (Italy). Mordukhovich is in the list of Highly Cited Researchers in Mathematics.
